Warrior Home is a multidisciplinary team, meaning our members represent a wide range of disciplines and faculties.

Warrior Home is an opportunity for some of the University of Waterloo’s brightest and most compassionate thinkers and doers to devote their energy to developing sustainable and affordable housing. Warrior Home members are able to develop and share their building science, design, project management and social equity knowledge at each weekly meeting. Members are not only given the chance to apply the ideas they cultivate on the drawing board, but also at volunteer build days!

Our team welcomes members of all academic backgrounds, as we are united by the common goal of sustainable development. With over 50 members across two co-op streams, Warrior Home always has a hard hat for you!

Depending on what we are working on when you join our team, our list of sub-teams may change. We are confident that no matter which sub-team you join, the Lead will be more than happy to show you the ropes as you get yourself settled. And remember, you can be on several sub-teams at once!
